We are excited to be contributing to Bronx Council on the Artsevent gift bags for their inaugural APPLAUSE Awards benefit on Nov 10th! This year’s theme is Women of Bronx Arts - honoring the achievements of five dynamic cultural leaders & the important Bronx organizations that they serve.
South Bronx United Soccer Club was the second winner of our Fordham Cares for the Bronx Initiative this past September. They received a total of 143 votes from Facebook fans nominating them to be the next recipient of our donation which amounted to $1,250. Bronx Ambassador of Goodwill Lenny Caro was also in attendance to help us give the check and celebrate our donation. We were thrilled to have some of the kids from the soccer club attend the event. Every 3 months we will be giving a donation to a deserving non-profit in the Bronx. Our third Fordham Cares charity participants are:
